Donna, James Gassoway Carroll I, M.D. married Elizabeth Woodard in 1830. He married Mendana Nadine Leedy on August 24, 1864 in Lee co., VA. She was the daugherter of Dr. Leedy and Mary Kegley. She was born July 9, 1829 in Wyth co. VA, died 10/21/1888 in Lee County Va. Children of Gassoway and Medana were:
